WANA ( Mar 31) – Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, in a phone conversation with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, extended his congratulations on Eid al-Fitr. He expressed hope that the blessings of this occasion would be bestowed upon all Muslim nations, including Egypt, with its rich history and civilization. President Pezeshkian also appreciated President el-Sisi’s humanitarian stance on Palestine and Gaza, emphasizing the need for greater solidarity and unity among Islamic countries to confront oppression and injustice.

 

During the conversation, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi also extended his Eid greetings to President Pezeshkian and the people of Iran, wishing that the blessings of Eid would be shared by all Islamic nations and the world. He expressed hope that oppression and violence would soon come to an end worldwide.

 

Later, the Iranian president also spoke with the Emir of Qatar, extending his Eid al-Fitr greetings. He described the occasion as an opportunity to strengthen brotherhood, cooperation, and unity among Islamic countries. He underscored the importance of solidarity and collaboration among Muslim nations in addressing challenges and threats.
